We head out to a lot of kitchens where the main complaint is that the dishes just aren’t coming out clean, or the machine is making a loud droning noise during the cycle. That was exactly the case with this KitchenAid dishwasher. After a quick inspection under the tub, it was clear the motor on the circulation pump assembly had failed, which stopped the water from spraying properly. We pulled the old unit out and installed a brand-new pump and motor assembly to get the water pressure right back to where it needs to be. It’s a straightforward fix that completely beats the cost of delivery and installation on a whole new appliance.
