A homeowner in New Westminster was having issues with their KitchenAid dishwasher. The panel would remain unresponsive, meaning they were unable to press any buttons to get the dishwasher working. These homeowners were washing dishes by hand for about two weeks before they gave us a call. We were able to book a same-day diagnosis for them within an hour of calling.

Upon arrival, we inspected the unit’s control board and UI panel to determine where the issue was coming from. We removed the two cables connected to the UI board and performed KitchenAid’s built-in diagnostic test by opening and closing the unit. Once the pump started, we were able to confirm that the issue was coming from the UI panel. We ordered the parts for our client and finished the repair ASAP.
